I use a French press every morning for my coffee. Actually, it has been suggested, and I've also read, that you need course ground coffee. Espresso is so fine that it might actually escape through the screen.
I use 2 scoops of coffee for my 8 oz. container. For twelve cups, I would start of with 6 scoops and see how that turns out. Be sure to let it steep for at least 4 minutes and then slowly push the press down. Hopefully you will get the desired tan colored foam on the top. I think this is call "creama" and is quite good.

Most packages of coffee will have intructions on the back, but if your's doesn't..here it is:
2 Tablespoons (levelled, not heaping) for every 8oz (180ml) of water. So just multiply this by the number of cups you'll be serving...

really espresso is mostly used as a dehydrant and an aide to free weight so I. on top of that caffeine slows up many actual applications which includes the digestion so even if the oils might want to have a minimum volume of ldl cholesterol it would not be undesirable. to boot I really have not in any respect heard of any plant oils being saturated fat
