How can I get channel signals w/o cable?
I've recently cut off my cable because IT'S TOO DAMN EXPENSIVE!!! I am a TV addict & I really jones for something! Does cable now monopolize free television? It was (off the record) recomended by a cable worker that I disconect the box (have to turn it in anyway) & connect the cable directly to my TV. It worked like magic for a few days but now all I have is loud noise & the basic grey fizz. I don't want to steel from anyone but jeez can I tune in to something?

Go to the store and buy an antenna to hook up to your TV. You will only get stations that broadcast in your area though.

the cable company has disconnect you. you could buy an antenna. if there are any transmitters close enough, you could receive the signal for free.
