i have soulseek and it is free downloads and you don't have to pay anything each month.

Yah, Napster, Rhapsody, Limewire (this one's free but illegal) and Yahoo music. You could also just rip the music from a CD and have it in your computer, then drag the songs/albums from the "my music" folder to the "iTunes music" folder.

Limewire is good, but if you want to be sure of legality, try Allof mp3.
It's really cheap, an album's about $1.50.

you could try lime wire, its easy and u just drag them into ur itunes into ur library, not strictly legal but everyone dose it!
