Dash knobs for heater in '01 Alero?

Question

Where can I get the knobs for the heater controls for an '01 Alero. I need to replace one, actually two of them, and there must be a place with them somewhere other than a dealer. Help!

(I broke the guts of the knob twisting it too quickly when it was cold in the morning. The air delivery control gets stiff when it is cold and I forgot. I switched it with the heat control which has little or no resistance but I need to replace it.)

Dealer is the only place i know of to get them. They are not that expensive.

Check out the website Car-Parts.com.  Do NOT forget the hyphen or else you will be taken to the wrong site.  Car-Parts.com is a database that thousands of junkyards list their inventory on.  You can simply enter your year, make and model, then find your part in the pulldown menu.  It will then list all of the salvage yards with the part and most of them list condition and pricing.

You can probably get it at the junk yard(salvage yard) auto recycling yard (Shredder/mongo muncher).Also you can try a couple of body shop sometimes the have some parts that were changed because of scratches. Also you can try jcwhitney.com also the dealer.Good Luck .

look in ur phone book under auto salvage yards and call themim sure ull find 1 there
