When I change screens, the next is presented huge for the page. I must click Ctrl- three times to reduce the size. How do I turn that off?

The signal from a FOB for a car door opener, getting transmitted over a cell phone???

I maintain the signal from the FOB is a radio wave signal, thus, it will not transmit via voice on the cell phone to open a car door from a remote location. A.K.A. Lost my keys, car's locked, called home on my cell to the wife with the spare keys and fob. I hold my cell next to the car, she hits the fob from home and the car doors unlock. I think not!

How many times have you had your front bearings go bad on your Alero, what approximate milage? I'm at 87k and am ready for my third set!

Actually, I wonder why auto makers have them configured for use when any other headlight is being used. I have *NEVER* seen one that makes significant difference in night driving vision to offset the blinding effect it has to on coming traffic, especially older drivers and people who where distance glasses. I believe if they new just how difficult they make avoiding them while blinding the on-coming drivers, they would never use them.

What are some of the things that can cause the red Brakes light come on? The brakes are still solid and the fluid is topped off.

(I broke the guts of the knob twisting it too quickly when it was cold in the morning. The air delivery control gets stiff when it is cold and I forgot. I switched it with the heat control which has little or no resistance but I need to replace it.)

My friend just got his new Ranger and his immediate complaint is that the gages are impossible to read if there is any light coming into the cab, like day time light. Turning on the lights in the night condition make no difference. Is there any aftermarket gage background available? I know there was for Mustangs a couple of years ago. Who carries them?

I am trying to get an old PC up from the dead. I got it to boot in Win98. It has the old keyboard plug (about 5/8" diameter) but no mouse. I have a small plugged mouse, just a little bigger than a quarter inch and an adaptor to serial. Does it go into the serial plug of the serial/parallel card? I have it their but it doesn't want to see it?!

I am installing four new hard drives in this build. Doing a fresh install of Win XP Pro, I need to format the first drive and it offered a 'Quick Format' or something like regular formatting. I used regular and it has taken an hour and twenty minutes. Is there any problem with using the Quick Format? What it is the difference, excluding the time consumed?

When XP Home edition starts up, it runs through the booting process until the screen where it offers a choice Windows XP Home or Windows XP Home with the count down. The count down takes place and when it gets to 0, it freezes. Where to start looking?

I have an old 18Volt Craftsman drill and the battery charger is dead. I tried to get it replaced at Sears but of course they dont have one to replace it. They sent me to their repair center and placed an order. A month and still nothing. I went back there and they said another month, maybe.
