I personally have not tried one, but the wife swears by it when I work away from home

Useless for 'exercise', but can provide a reasonably pleasant massage.

Insufficient research into the dangers of the things.

Source(s): Had one. Tried it. No use. Didn't 'feel' safe, and I have a background in medicine.

I've watched some new years resolutioners use it at the gym and its hillarious for bystanders!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Strap 'em in, turn it on and .... WOBBLE!!!!

It won't help you lose a great deal of weight but it pulls in the punters (the latest craze!!), and it really is very funny to watch!

If you really want to lose weight, go running. Burns 100 calories per mile.

Apparently they're not much good and rather expensive a mistake to purchase one, see if local gym has one.
