DO you ever wonder what the future holds for you?

And how do you deal with it?

ever hear the song" the waiting is the hardest part"? Life is full of wonder and unanwered questions- most of them are more interesting than the Yahoo!Answers ?'s . LOL

Yes. I deal with it generally by trying to substitute planning for worrying. I'm going to be 60 in March, so my future is somewhat shorter than you young punks. But that doesn't bother me nearly so much as the possibility of running out of money. When you get to the end of an ordinary career life, there's supposed to be a nice fat retirement account waiting for you. I didn't go that route.

So now I need to think of a way I can earn money even though I'm to old and fat and creaky in the joints to hold down the job I used to do, even if I had not been laid off as unnecessary.

But money is the only problem. I have friends, I have interests and hobbies, I have a great DVD collection, and I'm #37 on the leaderboard this week. What, me worry? LOL

Your future will be what you make of it...so stop wasting your time wondering about it and start acting.

No!. We can aim for a better future but we cannot predict.

I wonder about it sometimes...but I don't worry about it.
