wiper linkage on my '77 300D is broke,has anyone worked on this?
plastic washer has failed and allowed pass. side to come off the "knuckle",the knuckle on drier side is slightly flanged and not on bad side,should i have to replace that part as well as the arm.they tell me plastic ring can't be replaced ,arm and ring are one part.

Try Tristar Parts in Arizona. They have many old Benz cars in their scrapyard, and will ship direct to you.
Rusty Cullens lists the whole linkage, brand new, for just $69.55.

There are literally thousands of these cars is salvage yards. Call around, especially to the ones who specialize in foreign or European cars, and see if you can find the entire assembly used. You will save a lot of money over new "dealer" parts. You may even get lucky and find one that was almost new when the car was sold to the salvage.
