What's a good tax service company?
Anyone here ever use an H & R Block or Liberty tax service type place? I'm in need of a place, with a person. Love to hear any of y'alls experiences or where you think I should go..... I've all my papers, all my bills. Just need to sit down with someone, but nothing complicated, just some back taxes that I have to work out. Overpaid, not due. And no stock type stuff. Very simple. But do not want a computer program; Want a human. (In South Florida if that helps; and not wealthy at all.)

H&R Block would be the place to go, had my taxes done at Liberty Tax Service last year and they totally messed them up, found out the person who did my taxes had only taken a short class and did not know what she was doing.

H&R Block is great because they require their prep pigs to increase their knowledge with new courses every year...plus the experience of doing 100's of returns per year really kranks up their ability to handle alot of different situations.
My supervisor at H&R block knew more about taxes than many tax lawyers...and would often have to work with tax lawyers who had done situatuation incorrectly to work things out

I didn't have a great experience at Liberty Tax. They charged us so much for their fee that our refund of a good amount ended up being $239.00! Never again!
