For women that have had an IUD fall out?

OK, so I checked yesterday and my IUD fell out. My question is, did you get your period right away or when did it start? I've been thinking lately that I might be pregnant, with most of the signs, but I'm not sure when it fell out. I took 4 test and all neg. in the last month (thinking the IUD was still in), but we all know it doesn't mean I'm not preg. I've been cramping for about two weeks, but no period, so I just wanted to know how long did it take you to start?

Update:

I'm going to the Dr. on mon to check, I,ve had it in fot 8 months

The same day the IUD came out, I took a birth control pill and continually used it, so I did not get a period for about 23 days after the active pills were done. I have four kids and really do not want to get pregnant again. I am still upset the iud came out after I payed good money to have it inserted and then I find out that during the 2 1/2 months I thought the iud was correctly in that I could have gotten pregnant! the cramping might have been due to the iud coming out because when it gets dislodged it caused a lot of cramping and bleeding for me

I had an IUD fall out last year. I didn't know at the time that it fell out, and I got pregnant right away....so I can't really answer your question about the period. I later miscarried the pregnancy - my doctor told me it's very rare for such pregnancies to survive. She said IUD's fall out so rarely I was almost a textbook case. I will never use IUD as a form of birth control again.

Call your Dr, he will be able to tell you if the IUD is still there or not. He will also be able to tell you if you are pregnant. How long has the IUD been in??
