Silly question here: Ever noticed that the makers of 'queen size' or 'plus size' women's clothes
have never SEEN a fat woman?
NO ONE wearing a size 48 needs flowers the size of a bushel basket on their butt!
OR horizontal stripes, for that matter. No matter how "YOUNG" it makes you feel!
I'm that big myself...just so y'all don't think I'm picking on us fatties!

i know what you mean. if you look through any plus size catalog (i'm a 24) they are all bright neon colors with big flowers! why?? i want some more neutral colors so i dont look like a huge banana or a walking garden.

You know, I totally agree with you. They think every fat woman on the face of the earth is older than dirt and is into paisely and polyester. What's up with that? Then they always assume that the fatter you are, the longer your arms and legs are. And they don't realize that hips are not the same size as waists!

TORID! OMG. I have the same issue. Torid is at the mall or anything it has wide shoes and plus size clothing that little sticks can wear from other stores

Didn't ya see that episode of Project Runway where they had to design fer the regular woman? Designers are so used to working with superduper skinny runway models that don't evar eet nothing, when they have to fit larger women, their brains overload and explode in visions of floral prints and stripes.

Oooh, and why do designers assume that every big busted woman wants to show off her puppies to every on-looker? Can't a woman be well endowed AND modest?

Ha!
Yes I agree. They always make the clothing out of the the wrong color or print.

yes, I know what you mean... I have a friend that has to make her own clothes... and I went one day in a store like that... I got scared... the colors were horrible!

You are very observative. It's true, I'm just glad that the mid drift is no longer in style.

You are so right. They certainly don't design to their shape. My mother is a "fluffy" woman and she has found that Silhouettes carries designs with her shape in mind.

LOL, I guess I would probably fit in one of those polka dots, I am not a big girl, but I had to respond to your question because it made me laugh. Thanx. :)
