Daters: What are some things you wish the opposite sex knew when you're just starting to date?
Here are 2 of mine: No "Good morning" texts until you've EARNED that privilege AND until you know for sure what time they're up in the morning.
Also, please don't text me repeatedly if I don't respond to your first text. I HATE texts like "Helllooo" or "Are you going to answer me?", or "Was it something I've said?" I have a life, a job, and a social life. If I'm not texting you back it's either because I can't, or because I don't want to. Repeated texts aren't going to change that.
Both of the above scenarios make you seem clingy, needy and desperate. I'm sorry if these sound rude, but I just had to put that out there.

1 AnswerOther - Health8 years agoMy husband has had bleeding ulcers in the past. He feels like an ulcer he has now might start bleeding.?
1. Is there anything he can do to prevent them from bleeding TONIGHT?
2. If I took him to the ER tonight and they're NOT bleeding, is there anything that can be done there?
He will be seeing a Dr. first thing in the morning IF he doesn't go to the ER tonight.

1 AnswerOther - Diseases8 years agoAccording to "the charts" life expenctancy in the US is roughly 77 years. That makes middle-age?
about 39 years old. I'm 50. What the heck does that make me?? I certainly don't feel old or elderly.

6 AnswersHunting8 years agoDoes anyone have experience shipping single items across country?
Do you have recommendations on who to use? I just checked prices with one company to ship my mom's cedar chest from Dallas to Salt Lake City and it was over $700! There's GOT to be a better way!
1 AnswerOther - Business & Finance8 years agoLDS friends: My family and I will be picking my son up from his mission back east in 2015.?
We will definitely be seeing the Smithsonian in D.C., The Sacred Grove, and Center Valley, PA where my son is serving now. So, what are some other church related sites that we MUST see while we're out that way? Note, we will only have about 9 days, so it needs to be pretty close to the areas I just mentioned. Thanks

I'm using a high glass Rustoleum.
3 AnswersDo It Yourself (DIY)8 years agoI have a 2 lb roast and I want to oven cook it only until it is rare. I would rather not cook it in foil if?
I don't have to. I have up to two hours to cook it. I have the recipe -- it's a rub. I just need to know how long and at what temp to cook it. Go! :)
4 AnswersCooking & Recipes8 years agoI haven't been in the job market in about 20 years. I don't have a lot of professional clothing?
and I'm wondering if this would be appropriate for a job interview for an administrative assistant at a real estate firm:
Winter white slacks, a coral colored blouse and dark brown pumps (I also have open back beige alligator pumps which would be my first choice fashion-wise, but I'm not sure the open back would be appropriate for a job interview). I also normally go pretty bold with a statement necklace, but again, I'm not sure that's appropriate. I do have a pair of navy-blue slacks, and a pair of brown slacks, but I don't feel as confident in those as I do the winter white ones, however, if wearing a darker pair of pants would make a better impression, I'm willing to wear them.

1 AnswerDiet & Fitness8 years agoEngineers:I don't know if this is enough information to get a real answer but here's my question:?
I'm making a model of a chair. I'm making it out of 2" thick maple. The seat is roughly a 16" circle. If I had a steel rod coming down (16") to a 14" round "foot" on the ground, how thick would the rod need to be to support a 300 lb person? This can be a rough estimate. It doesn't need to actually hold a person since I'm making a 1/4 scale of it, I just want it to look as realistic as possible. Thank you in advance.
