I absolutely love everything about it. Have you seen it? What did you think?

it's a great movie!
but I actually prefer the stage show... if you haven't heard michael crawford as the phantom you need to check that out. it's the original cast recording. that's like the only thing he ever really did well because he was like MADE for that role...
you might be disappointed though because most people who have just seen the movie feel like the phantom has to be attractive and mysterious... almost like you wanted to get with him more than with the good guy... but... the phantom was always supposed to be psycho... not attractive...
anyway, i've rambled enough.. check it out for yourself!

I've only seen the film version, and Emmy Rossum could've sounded like a cat in heat and I still would've loved it. She's awesome, but I really had no true understanding of her range of talent until I saw that film.
Incredible.

I love it too! I've seen it 3 times since I was 14yrs old. As soon as it comes back around here I'd definitely go again. My favorite part was when the chandelier fell, scared the crap out of me the first time I saw it.

"Phantom" in a live theater is SO much more spectacular than anything you can see on film! The costumes, the sets, the pyrotechnics, not to mention the singing, all add up to make the show the spectacular event that it is!

Unfortunately, I've been spoiled. If it's not Michael Crawford and Sarah Brightman, it just doesn't sound right.
