I need the titles and artists of two songs I hear sometimes on Hangar Radio Z in Spartanburg, SC. One sounds like a Jamaican-influenced song, with what sounds like TobyMac saying "Don't you ever criticize, my friend, only Christ can make things whole." The data source seems to update almost immediately, and then down on the bottom of the spreadsheet, I see a status bar appear, with the words, "Preparing worksheet," then "Adjusting column width." The problem comes when it says "Rows" by itself. It clocks for over 10 minutes! It's only 135,000 rows, but it's too much to cut and paste (over 65k). What's the deal?

I note a trend in recent works of literature to introduce characters, sometimes historical, that appear from other literary works. For example, the League of Extraordinary Gentleman, Inkheart, Here There Be Dragons, all have characters from other works of literature. Is there a name for it? Are there other more notable instances of this technique?
