What are your manpower requirements? Do you have a lot of help? Or, is it just you? What other resources do you have available? Radio, Television?

Bathtub races are fun, if you live in Florida.

Rubber Duck Races are fun (like the one shown on the Simpsons)

Auctions, Golf Tournaments, Mock Arrests, Haunted Houses, Gift Wrapping, Raffles, Draw Downs, Car Washes, Selling donuts.

There are about 10,000 ways to raise money. With a little bit of help, you can go a long way.

What is it that you're fundraising for?

    Here are a few ideas.....

AMAZING RACE-Gather up approximately 25 teams (more if you can handle it) less if time is short. Decide an amount for each team to raise (when we did it, the teams were required to raise $500.00 to participate) We contacted local businesses, farms, arenas, etc, and asked them to participate as pitstops/task stops. They were all excited to join in, because of the good cause, and also because of the free advertising they were getting out of it. On the day of the race, participants were all given a clue, and were set out on the day from there. Tasks had to be completed, and the last team to complete at the assigned pitstops were disqualified. Tasks ranged from spreading hay in a horse stall, to finding a doll in a fireman's smoke house, to singing karaoke, or simply finding a landmark. It is a great fundraiser (we raised over $40,000 in two years) and it a great way to get your organization out there, as well as let your creativity on the go!
