Question for anyone who is or has taken or taught AP Physics B and/or Calculus BC?

For those currently taking taking or teaching AP Physics B or Calculus BC, can you tell me what topics you have covered in class. For those who took it in past years, what topics do you remeber you covered during the first half of the year.

I have an extremely bad teacher (hes the same one for both classes, and I feel he is going at a very slow pace. I had him last year for Calculus AB and i KNOW he went at a slow pace then.

*The classes meets 2 or 3 times a week for a little over an hour. They last from Sep to May, and it is now mid-Jan and we have not even covered half of all we need to know. As of now our Calculus BC class has been mainly review.

I'm taking Physics B this year, and so far we have covered mechanics, heat, and now we're on energy and magnetism. 2-3 times a week is not alot, and you may just have to do some stuff on your ow. My teacher's not the greatest either, but let me tell you, I know it's a pain in the neck to go home and read the text book and do your own practice problems, but it's worth it. Remember, machanics is the biggest subject so it should have taken longer than any other section. Good Luck!!!
