i just updated my windows internet explorer and i am no longer able to access web addresses from my outlook ma

previously, when an email arrived with a web address, i clicked on the address and my internet explore automatically opened up, searched for and accessed the site. not any more?????? what's the deal?

    I don't know if this relates to your problem but, Outlook Express is not linked to Internet Explorer 7. There is no way in IE7 to remotely open up Outlook Express anymore. So, that might be the problem.

    Source(s): I'm a technical Support person at ISP. So, we have had people calling about problems with IE7 for some time now.

    I donno, what setting did you use? Click Tools, Options, Programs... someplace in there did you make a change? I'm not really sure what your asking to be honest, but it's probibly just something you had as a custom setting before the update and now your update changed it all to default.

    You can go to add/remove programs, try and Fix IE-if that dont work, chose the option to restore previous version

    just get yahoo mail or somthing its easier than out look on internet explorer

    internt xplorer 7 will not work with any anti virus s/w.

    unistall the new version of explorer. thn unistall anti virus and thn again install xplorer 7.0
