"Katrina estuvo aqui" it says but I think that u r talking about katrina the hurricane, so if that is the case is "Katrina paso por aqui", when you say "estabas" it refers about person to person, for example, "Tu estabas aqui" "you were here" talking person to person, face to face, so do u get it???
