Can people see my cam without me knowing it?

Yes, they can.....my daughter's friends brag about being able to hack online and steal the show and get paid for it by sending it in to a place that shows them on the internet. Be careful and unplug it when you don't use it.....!!!!

I watched a particular on CNN lately about something like this. they'd an internet cam set up in a households lounge and had a hacker hack into their computing gadget and he become waiting to visual show unit the youngsters playing interior the lounge. type of a creepy idea in case you question me. I purely target my cam in the route of the wall purely in case this ever takes position ;-)

I'm sure there is but I'm not sure how to do it. If thats such a problem disconnect your webcam when not in use and watch what you show on it. If I put my mind to it I might be able to but probably wouldn't do.

I have two friends that could, but would not do that...they are very good with computers and would be able to do that unless you have a really kick azz firewall.

yes they can their are some programs that allow people to do this there isn't anyway to stop them from doing it unless you unplug your webcam

no! when they press your web cam button, it alerts you, kinda says "whoever would like to see your webcam" then is gives you an option to accept or to decline.
