Whatever resort you choose, stay on the grounds. It may be a bit more expensive, but there are many perks that resort guests receive that other hotels don't get. 1. Extra magic hours - Resort guests get extra time in one of the parks each day. There is usually a schedule you can get before you go. 2. Depending on the crowd, they may close a park. Resort guests are admitted no matter what. This acutally happened to me the last time I was down there. Due to the number of people, they actually closed off entrance for a while to the Magic Kingdom. Because I was a resort guest, my family and I still got to go in. That sure made a few people in line waiting to get in mad.

Anyway, depending on the age of the kids, just about any resort is a good bet. These are our favorites.

Value - All-Star Movies - not as expensive, and there are quite a few kids running around, but is geared more towards the kids and families.

Moderate - Carribean Beach - probably best resort we have stayed at for the money. Sitll geared some to the kids, but also to the adults. Much quieter. has the food court as well as a restaurant.

Deluxe - Polynesian village - By far my favorite, and in my opinion the best resort on the grounds. Beautiful resort, rooms are huge, can see the Magic Kingdom fireworks every night, as well as the water parade. Drawback here is it is WAY expensive.

I hope this helps. I would pick up one of the many books about Disney to decide. Birnbaums is the "bible" that we always use.

Hope you have a great time. Of course you will, its Disney!

I am going to try to do this one step at a time. 1) If you have 7 day park hopper tickets you can not enter the parks the other three days without purchasing additional days. They are not included in the package. The package is for the the 7 day park hopper tickets that you picked. But, it is very cheap and easy to upgrade your tickets to add the additional days. 2) Because you arrive so late, I would recommend getting settled in the hotel and relaxing that evening. That way you are well rested and able to enjoy your first full day in the parks. 3) A ten day trip with only 7 days of tickets is a good thing. It will allow you plenty of time to relax and take a break from the parks. The parks are very stimulating, especially for a young child, you can enjoy some down days and enjoy the pool at the resort. 4) Tips are not included in your dining package. The average tip for good service is 18-20%. If the service is bad you should tip less, if it is extraodinary, you should tip more. Several options will be available to you when you get your check. 5) I would recommend bringing any baby products you need or using a grocery delivery service. The products at Disney can be very pricey. I like, we go shop. 6) There are some outlets near Disney for souviners. They are only a good bargin if you are buying a lot or if you have a car. 7) You are traveling during a very busy season. I would use an itinerary and touring plans service to make the most out of an expensive trip. We have used Custom Mouse Plans and they are great! They seem a little pricey at first, but then I compared it to how much the trips cost and I realized they were worth every penny. They helped us avoid the long lines that are so common at Disney World. 8) There is only one Pirate and Princess Party in June. June 4th. I hope I helped!

For the absolute best experience stay at the Grand Floridian. Ask for a room on the Lagoon, you will be able to smoke on the balcony, see the fireworks and the nightly boat parade. They also have an awesome Character breakfast for the kids, and one of the top restaurants in Florida called Victoria and Alberts if you want a nice romantic dinner without the kids. Another plus is the monorail stops right at the front door.

I always recommend the Animal Kingdom Lodge as my first choice. And the view from those balconys are amazing! Another great Disney choice is the Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground. You can book your own private cabin from $239 a night.

My and my family have been going to Saratoga springs and going again this yr, it is 100% fab!! My daughter is coming this time (shes 20 months), so im looking forward to it even more so. Any resort you go to, it will be great!! Enjoy x

All of them are nice hotels. We personally like the Port Orleans Riverside because its beautiful and more laid back and relaxing then the other resorts. The Wilderness Logde is really nice too and one of our favorites also.

Any you choose will be a great pick. You just can't go wrong with a Disney resort!

Save yourself some money - book away from the resort into one of the smaller Hotels on International Drive - all have free shuttles to WDW and SeaWorld!

WDW is fine but eating, drinking etc is expensive!

You can also, for a very small charge buy a pass for the I Drive shuttle bus! Costs about $14 for a week and you can use it all day, as many times as you like! Very handy if you want to visit the shopping malls and buy all the goodies over there at prices you could only dream of here!

Example - bought a suede jacket - American Nascar- all the logos for the teams and sponsors - cost $45 (about £25) and a suede jacket for my wife - cost $30 (£19).

We stayed a the All Star movies and it was brilliant , you can smoke outside the room , the facilities were first class as was

service , I believe it was more reasonable than wilderness etc,

    good luck.

  • You may want to try tripadvisor.com for Orlando but where ever you stay ..Do Not and I repeat DO NOT stay at the REGAL PALMS Resort..This site is misleading and a dump...overseas ownership plugs this place like crazy on tripadvisor so we went and it was very very bad... Mariott vacation rentals is a good place
