Screen capture question, is it possible?

I know the prntscrn button to capture the whole screen, but I just want to capture the program I'm working in, not the whole windows screen. Is that possible? Thanks!

Yes you can, press ctrl-alt-print screen. It will take a screen shot of the current window with focus.

analogx has a free, small capture program,

after installing, just set to capture active window.

You can push the button "print screen" at the top of your keyboard, that will copy it.

then go to a photo editing program and paste it and crop out the desired picture.

first paste it in windows paint, save it , then use the rectangular select tool to mark the area , then select Edit > Copy

Open a new window of paint, the previous window will close.

Now Select Edit > Paste here and save it
