what are you studying now? usually big international/multinational companies have intern program in developing countries. if your city of choice is jakarta, check international consultants such as Earnst&Young,KPMG,DAI or international financial institution such as citybank,amex. don't know from whom you get info jakarta is an exciting city. actually it is not only exciting: it is big, crowded (traffic is a nightmare), polluted and crime is relatively high. just be carefull and use your common sense. good luck
