Question about political correctness?

Many Conservatives want certain books, such as the Harry Potter series of books or Huckleberry Finn, banned because it upsets them, is that politically correct or politically incorrect?

Well, the left wants Huckleberry Finn banned because they say n***** in the book. The religious right, the nutty ones, want Harry Potter banned because they believe in witches and wizards.

Uh. Not sure where you got that. I've heard of some churches maybe banning them from church festivel book drives, but nothing about concervatives.

I'm a concervative independent and I have no problem with somebody else reading it.

  • That's being to g*ddamn nit-picky and wanting the government to take care of every little thing for you. If you don't like the books and don't want your children reading the books, don't buy them, but don't deny the rest of us who actually have an open mind.

It is not conservatives that want these books banned, it is Christians who argue that it endorses witchcraft and sorcery and they are correct without a doubt.

Do you have a link? BTW,why did liberals attack Jim Gilchrist when he was invited to speak at Columbia University? I thought they were all for free speech (unless of course they disagree with it)?

I've never heard of conservatives who want it banned. Who said this?

(To answer your question, it's not correct or politically correct.)

I don't think it's an issue of correctness, it's an issue of moral upset. It's censorship, and it's not what America is about.

Oh my god your question just offended me. I'm calling my lawyer and drag you to court, then the news people will show up and some p-us-sy in government will see it and they'll do bad things to you !

    It's neither. Just plain old fashioned S h i t headism.
