Yes there is a very simple way if you still have the pictures on the computer. What you want to do is connect your SD card to your computer and depending on the operating system your computer should recognize it as an extended storage device. Open the folder where your pictures are stored. And go to MyComputer and see if you have an extended storage drive. If you do chances are it's your SD card. Just open the SD cards folder and copy the pictures there. Once done disconnect your SD card and see if they show up on your camera.

Also it would be good to know how you connect the SD card to the computer. Is it through the Camera or do you have an SD card reader?

Yes, Firstly you don't have to take them off your card when downloading - click 'copy' rather than 'move' and you will be left with copies on both the card and the computer. I always do it that way just in case there is any glitch in the download. Secondly, you can put your card into a card reader attached to the computer and it will be recognized as a removable drive. just like a pen drive for example. Select the pictures you want on the card and click 'copy' to that card at whatever drive number has been assigned to it. I have seen it said before on this site that if you do that you can't see the pictures on your camera's screen. I don't know whether that is correct or not.

Yes if you have a slot on your computer you can insert the card. Once your computer reconizes it you should be able to open the card like a thumb drive and just drag and drop the files into the file the card has on it. All of your pictures should be back on your camera.
