Why does the word AMBULANCE is always written inverted on the front of an ambulance...?

So that when you see it in your rear view mirror it is written correctly.

So people can read it correctly in the rear view mirrors!

So it can be read through rear view mirrors.

When you look in your rear view mirror you can see what is coming.

It is so you can read it in your rear-view mirror so you will

know to get out of the way when its emergency lights are on.
