Would you be nervous if it was just Benadryl allergy medication and acetaminophen? That's all that stuff is.

I grant that it's an _extremely_ stupid thing to do, but it's far from lethal.

"How is Tylenol PM different from Benadryl® brand products?

Each gelcap/geltab/caplet of Tylenol PM contains 500 mg of the pain reliever, acetaminophen, and 25 mg of the sleep aid, diphenhydramine HCl. Classified as an antihistamine with sedating properties, diphenhydramine is the same active ingredient found in many Benadryl® products."

    http://www.tylenol.com/print.jhtml?id=tylenol/pain...

That's a huge whack of drug for a toddler, and given the 'may cause excitabilty' warnings with children's Benadryl, I have no idea what the person was trying to do.

Got a link to the original post? Sure it's not a troll?

Tylenol PM is NOT for 3 year olds! Some products like this can cause liver damage if ingested by young kids.

I have never heard of this, however it is ok if it is Children's Tylenol. Also there are suggestions as to what you should do when giving Tylenol to a child under 12, usually consulting a doctor first.

What are they trying to do kill the kid??? The sedatives in something like that are *way* too strong for a kid. I don't think I'd give it to anyone less than teenaged.
