got my tattoo tonight and it turned out great!?
Just want to say thanks again for all your help re: questions I had. Got the tattoo tonight and it didn't hurt as bad as i thought it was going to! :) The outline hurt a little more than the shading but it was totally tolerable and definately worth it. Woohoo!
just reread my question and it was actually the shading that hurt me more than the outlining...didn't like the shading...kept feeling he was knicking my skin...to the people that asked me about the pain factor, really wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. I expected MUCH worse. I didn't even realize that he started in the beginning because of the tattoo machine sound. Not a totally pleasant experience but definately worth it.

OMG im so happy for you! considered one of my black acquaintances have been given one for his mom and the artist mentioned no colour for him too. He isnt rather darkish or something, yet somewhat on the darker area. I even have seen black people, women frequently, with colour tattoos and that i think of the assessment with their epidermis and the colours is breathtaking. Congrats!!

what did you get? how bad did it hurt? I want one but I am a little afraid of needles but if it doesn't hurt too bad then maybe I'll get one! I glad yours turned out great!!! ;o)

lucky! i want to get a tattoo too, but i'm scared it might be too much pain for me to tolerate. i think i'll just get a tiny one above my ankle or on my wrist in the future. where did you get your tattoo at?
