If you have a base symphony 1 or 2,with no DVD/NAV,its fairly easy.

You will need a flat tip screwdriver and a Torx screw driver(the

Torx has a pentagon shaped tip,and is usually available at the dealer). Before you get started, obtain the radio codes for your radio.

it will help to have these if you re-install this radio at a later date.

Ok..Remove the two covers located on the dash Just above the radio. They easily pry up,but be careful you dont damage them.

Next, slowly begin to pry the Molding from around the radio.start at the top and work your way down.Go slow, and dont get frustrated.

Once you get to the bottom go the top again, and work your way down again.Once you have removed the molding,You will see 4

Torx screws.2 on each side.Remove all the screws and slowly pull the Radio towards you.Look behind the back of the Radio and disconnect the Harness..And your Done...

Generally they are all the same. Pull off the knobs. Then there should be nuts on the shafts that are unscrewed which will allow the faceplate to come off. Behind the faceplate is another set of nuts on the same shaft which must come off as there are metal plates behind the square hole that the radio fits thru. After the nuts are off, you must look from underneath the dash for the bracket that fastens to the firewall from the rear of the radio. Need to take that bracket off.

Also disconnet the cable for the attenna, the speakers and the power wire.

The radio is then pulled out forward thru the dash.
