your read collages? what kind of level is that... one with cut out pictures and glue sticks?

here's something scary- you want people to type out stories for you when you could be using this time locating and reading them yourself...Try Edgar Allen Poe online..if you read at a college level it shoudl be no problem for you and quite enjoyable...I recommend the mask of red death, the black cat for starters...

also there's another resource for people who like to read stories...its called the public library...which is full of...books!

Ever since my grandfather died when I was about 7 I'm pretty sure he has been coming around me. You see my grandfather babysitted me everyday until he moved to North Carolina about a year before he died. We were very close and I had so many memories with him. He was my best friend my idol and my hero. Ever since he died I seem to see his face every where. I'm now 15 keep in mind and I still get those feelings like I'm being watched and I'll turn around and see a glimpse of his face and then its gone. One particular night I felt a cool gust of wind, all my windows were shut and there was no air condition on or anything, I sat up and at the end of my bed I saw a premoniton of my grandfather walking around my room. He looked exactly how he had when he died and when he turned and saw me looking at him he disappered. I also have a picture that i keep at my nightstand of my grandpa and grandma. Sometimes in the middle of the night it will just fall over for no reason. Other times the lights will flicker or turn off or turn on and there will be no wind or anything, there is no logical reasons why these things happen. A couple of weeks ago I went up to my room and it was about 1:00 in the morning and I had been having strange feelings that night like someone was behind me or watching me or something. I just kind of brushed them because I was with my mom. Anyways when I walked into my room and turned the light on I saw a crystal clear image of my grandfathers head floating outside my window. I was very freaked out so i went down to tell my mom and as I was walking I heard footsteps that were not my own. I turned around and there was nothing there. That was the last encounter I had but I'm sure it will happen again, I've just come to accept that its my grandfather and that he is just looking after me and I don't really get scared anymore, its something that I've learned is just normal in my life and it will never stop, honestly I don't want it to I like knowing that my grandfather is always closer than I thought

Well, the only, and therefore, scariest thing to happen to me happened when I was 17. One night, I woke up from a dead sleep. At first, I thought something had startled me awake, and that the reason I couldn't move was that I was still coming out of the REM cycle where your body is paralyzed, because you're dreaming. But, then I realized that I was sleeping on my back. I never, ever, have been known to sleep on my back, ever. The only time I slept on my back in my life was when I was twelve and had casts on both legs and was physically unable to sleep on my side. During that time, I just hardly slept. Anyway, then I realized that I could move my head fine, and my hands, and my feet, but the rest of my body felt too heavy. I started to really wake up then, and panick a little. I felt like something was on top of me, behaving in a very sexual way, as though whatever it was was having sex with me. I was very panicked. I must have lain there for twenty minutes or more, before it all suddenly went away, and I felt really cold -- like whatever was on top of me was at least providing some warmth with its presence. I was so freaked I cried, and eventually fell back asleep. The rest of the week, I felt completely drained and very nervous and jumpy. That's the only time anything like that has ever happened to me. I am probably just giving in to the craziness everybody gives into a little bit at some point, but I think it was the attack of an incubus -- a male sexual psychic vampire.

I'm sorry, before I say anything else, it doesn't speak well of you to claim you read on a "collage" level, as collages seldom have too many words. Anyways, what kind of story are you looking for? Ghost? Serial Killer? Scary because it's true? Go here:http://snopes.com/horrors/horrors.asp, I always find it pretty entertaining, and searches off that page are all pretty interesting.

My mother had to work 2 jobs when I was younger (7 to 11 years old). We had no money so a neighbor would take care of me and my brother. She happened to believe in santeria. Well, she had a promise that she had been keeping to a high spirit. In this promise she was to dress a black doll all in a white attire, that is folklore African attire. At night, the lady would brew coffee and place it in front of the doll. Every night she would iron this dress, it was a beautiful bright white. As I said, she would put the cup of coffee in front of this doll and lock the door to that particular room. Here's the weird part. In the morning, she would open the door and all the coffee would be gone. You would look at the dool, and her eyes would have tears of coffee coming out of her eyes. The coffee would be all over this dress. The lady would grab the dress, clean it up nicely, press the dress again for another night. I can't tell you that I believe in things, but this is something that I saw for years and was never able to explain. Let me know your thoughts!

I will tell you a story if your interested....

I was really bored one weekend so I invited a friend to go with me to rent a motel. It was really nice! Well, when we got their, we checked in and put our stuff up. We played around and played truth or dare. When it started to get dark I was going to take a shower. I got me an outfit and I went in the bathroom, took my clothes off, and ran the water. When I got in I closed the bathroom curtain. After I got finished washing my hair the bathroom light flickered and I thought it was my friend so I grabbed me a robe and went to were my friend was at and she had bean talking to a neighbour that was renting beside of us. I wondered what was going on. I went back into the bathroom (like a dumb ***!!!) After I got finished putting my clothes on and brushing my teeth, I twisted the knob it would not open, I twisted harder and the door sling ed open, as soon as it did I seen something flash across the room.

This is a long one and yes it really happened. I am now 20 and live in a dorm at New York University, but when I was maybe 16 or 17 something happened that I can't forget. First let me fill you in on the details. When my parents got married they lived in my dad's condo here in NYC, but my mom was a country girl and when her parent's died she wanted to move into their house in the country in upstate New York. It is a beautiful Victorian house in the woods about 5 miles from anyone, and it's gothic. My grandparents loved this house and mom wanted to keep it. So they moved into the house and had 3 kids, one is me of course. Nothing real strange about the house started happening until I was about 16 or 17, and only that one time...so far. I was in my bedroom and my parent's had gone out for their anniversary. My brother wasn't home because he was staying with his best friend, Tod. Tod and him were real close, not in a gay way though. It was just me and my sister, Julianna, at home. It was about 9p.m. Not late, but it was dark. To beat it all it started raining and lightning and the lights started blinking. So Julainna ran to my room and said that she wanted to stay with me. She was pretty young then. I told her it would be okay so I lit some candles and turned the blinking lights off. She calmed down and she helped me study for a music test that I was going to have the next day at school. Then after she had calmed down completely I took her to bed-around 9:45. It was still raining hard. So I kept studying and after I got finished with the music book I decided to try some pieces that my music teacher told us to study. It was very boring, so I started improvising and I made the piano vibrate cause I sometimes get roused up in the music. Then I heard my glass of water, or apple cider or whatever it was, fall. I thought that it fell because of the piano's vibrating, but it was on my nightstand on the other side of the room. I brushed it off. But I had to take the broken glass downstairs to the kitchen garbage. On my way upstairs I saw my sister had gotten out of bed and was in the family room cozed by the fire. She knew not to light the fire by herself, but she told me that she didn't light it, but I knew that we were the only ones in the house. I thought that she was lying, but I said nothing and went back upstairs. Then on my piano stand that holds music I seen the Turkish March by Mozart, I knew it wasn't mine. So I went downstairs and asked Julianna and she said it wasn't hers-I thought she was lying. So I put the fire out and told her to go to bed. She said okay and as she went up the stairs, I went in the kitchen to get some water. Then as I went upstairs again I saw that the music had been taken. I knew it wasn't her this time. When my parents got home I told them about it and mom said that the Turkish March was her dad's, my grandfather's, favorite piece. She thought I was playing a trick on her of course. Then as I was going to my bedroom I looked at our family picture. my grandfather was in it holding a piece of music, I never noticed it before because it was so small. I looked real close and seen the music he was holding was by Mozart. I thought "Oh Brother!" I was kindly scared, but not hysterical. I didn't sleep that much that night. The next day in school I sat near an open window in music class because I was hot- I get hot easily. Before the test the teacher said we could take a few minutes to look over the text. The wind blew and turned my books pages to the chapter about Mozart. Then a few seconds later it turned it to the one about Haydn(a classical composer). The thing about Haydn is that his first name was Joseph, and Joseph was my grandfather's first name. It made me wonder. I kept it to myself, who would have believed it?! So was it a coincidence? Was it just the wind? Was it my sister playing a trick on me? Then, a few days later or so, I remembered that Julianna told me that she didn't turn the fire on the other night when it happened. I asked her who did it, and she said that that never happened that she never went to the family room and that she never left her bedroom after I tucked her in. To this day, I don't like to listen to Mozart that much!

I am not schizophrenic because this only occurred once and with that it occurs more. I know about mental illnesses because my mom is a supervisor of an asylum and my dad is a doctor there. Plus others have noticed things in my house.
