can I sue?

My company let me go after 13 years of service with no write ups or probation of any kind. I did sign an employee at will at the start of my employment, but it still feels like such a shaft deal. It happened in the state of Utah. Options?

It seems you can sure for anything these days...so go for it, but odds are you will lose and just spend tons of money unnecessarily. You didn;t say why they let you go...was it company wide lay offs or just you? Most states are work at will, where a company can hire and fire at will with no real explanation needed.

You can always sue.As to whether or not you'l win. I doubt it.
