I shouldn't have THIS much non-confidence?

Basically I think I have trained my self to think something to the equivalent of: 'yeah, right' or 'that'll happen soon' about having a gf, even though sometimes I let myself get swept up (for the wrong reasons and to the wrong people).

Anyway, I really shouldn't be feeling so bad about myself, and to top it off I'm thinking if I should and should not post this (obviously i did).

I'm probably a psychiatrist's best investment, but I don't want to go see doctors or get medicine.

how about, how can I feel more confident about these kind of things?

    How old are you? I understand not wanting to take medicine or pay someone to act like they care about your problems. What was your question anyway? Make yourself see the glass half full instead of half empty because there is always another point of view which is more positive. Stop yourself from allowing the negativity in and with time you should win the battle.
