Any game ideas for a 2nd baby shower that will have moms and kids (toddler - preschool age) attending?

This will be a party for a 2nd time mom (she has a 4 year old daughter) and will be part playdate, part baby shower. She doesn't know the gender of her 2nd baby. Since all of us have had one or two baby showers ourselves, we know most of the ol' standby's. I'm looking for ideas to either include our kids or ideas we can play with them nearby.

    Here are some ideas:

Have everyone decorate plain white onesies with Sharpies or Fabric Paint!!! Mom can take them home, wash them and have them ready for baby to wear!! (get them in different sizes so they will be usable the entire first year!!)

Also, I have a page on my website that has some sentimental ideas for baby shower activities. Check that out, too, if you like!!

    I put the link below....

One cute game that kids really like is to pass a roll of toilet tissue around. Tell each party guest to take off as much as he or she needs. No explanations beyond that. After everyone has taken some, measure the amount they kept, and the one that has the amount closest to the father's height wins a prize. I guess kids like this because bathroom humor tends to amuse them.

Another one is to clip a clothes pin on the hem of everyone's skirt or pants. Then, if you see anyone crossing his or her legs during the shower, you take that person's clothes pin + any that s/he may have collected from others. At the end, the person with the most clothes pins wins. Kids love watching and collecting others' clothes pins.

Kids (who are old enough) and moms could draw pictures on squares of muslin which will be sewn together into a baby quilt for baby. Would have to use fabric markers!

Guess how many baby socks in the jar

Read excerpts from popular children's books and see who can guess the title first

Have the little kids guess how big the baby will be

Have the moms balance baby spoons on their noses

hey u know what? parents can play pin the tail on the donkey with the kids. and all the kid party games. who knows maybe there wild side will show for the time being!!! i think that ppl that already have kids would be willing to do kid games. they don't want them to be left out. i would alternate between games like do adult then kid. that way everyone can play together. and nobody feels left out.

sorry my games don't include kids but i Hope they help.

if mommy is preg. have all that gusts take a piece of string to try and Guss how big around mommy is around the fullest part of her tummy. the one who measures the closest wins

have your guests bind folded take any number of baby foods have her try to Guss which is which.

everyone in 2s take a doll and see who can diaper their baby the fastest with 1 arm each.

    hope that helps have fun
