How to burn 2 DVDs into 1?

How to burn 2 DVDs into 1?

I have 2 DVDs of 2 family programmes. A videographer recorded both the programmes and delivered them to me in 2 separate DVDs. Each DVD has its initial menu of scene selection and audio setup. Now I want to burn these into 1 single DVD.

I want the new DVD to have a menu from where I can go to the menu of either of the 2 original DVDs.

I have a DVD-RW drive and a Nero software. But not quite sure how to do what I want to do using the things I have. Can anyone help out?

The videographer friend is currently out of country; so I can't seek her assistance.

    I'm not an expert...but I'll try.....

What you want to do is convert your DVD's (using Nero) into AVI format. Divx...which is a media player and burner.....recognized and burns AVI files. If you don't have divx player....you'll need to download it (it's free). Divx is a compression format....in other words it makes the file smaller. Most DVDs are about 4 gigs....after the AVI compression they are 700 megs or so. About 6 avi files (converted from DVD) will fit onto a DVD....so you'll have no problem fitting on two.....

After you change the DVD to AVI format, use the Divx player's burn feature. Your DVD burner will then burn the AVI files into a Divx format on your disk.

A few things to be aware of......most DVD players do not play Divx forman...you'll need to find one that says it plays Divx.....

There is a slight quality drop.......

Use nero recode. It lets you put films on to a dvd.

Then it auto calculates the video sizes to make it fit on the dvd.

    Hope this helps...

or you will get carry of the loose utility observed as HJ chop up and use it to cut up your data. It has the best thing approximately having the flexibility to recombine the chop up data back right into a single record.
