what is your opinion about the movie 'serenity'?

I love "Serenity." Joss Whedan is a god among men and "Firefly" (the show "Serenity" spawned from) was the best show on television that no one was watching. The cast was amazing and the writing was unbelievable. It was a different take on SciFi. Throw a little western into it and you have gold.

Serenity is kick-*** science fiction--a wild ride through a new cosmos; half-future, half Wild West. Great story, with a potent message, and amazingly diverse characters.

I'd never seen Firefly, the tv series the movie was a continuation of, but afterwards, I bought the entire series on DVD and now I'm a fan. I'm hoping for another movie.

I enjoyed it. I thought it was entertaining and had some good action. I'm a big fan of Joss' work on the little screen and the big screen. I never watched Firefly, so I can't compare it to the show.

after seeing it I went out and bought the box set for Firefly amazing show. So I guess that means I liked it.

Went to see this in the cinema, I thought it was crap.
