what, you mean things like the Hellenistic era (323-146 b.c)

always begin with a creation myth, then talk about gods and goddesses; a couple of words about their temples, cult centres; the way they are depicted. Talk about mythology-inspired art.
You might want to mention how greek mythology affected European civilization.
