Does anybody know any good songs or artists from the Hippie era?

I love all the good classic rock music, like the rolling stones, and steppenwolf. I am just trying to find more from that era. Like around woodstock's time. Thanks.

The beatles are NOT from the hippie era, they just sold out to it. If you recall eary in their career they had the mop top hair and suits, not hippy at all. I'm not sure what you mean by hippie era, if you mean the pshychadelic rock?? or just the late 60s early 70s period where the "hippie" era was prominent. As best as i can answer, the doors, grateful dead, norman greenbaum, frank zappa. iron butterfly,
