My husband and I got married in Las Vegas in December 2005. It was a really fun time! We got married at The Little White Wedding Chapel. They picked us up in a limo at the front doors of our hotel, took us to the court house, waited for us to get a license, took us to the chapel, waited for us to be married and have photos taken, and then dropped us back at the doors of our hotel. Everyone was very nice!

Granted, the entire ordeal is very kitschy, but we've talked about it and we would do it exactly the same again if given the opportunity. Remember - a wedding can cost $25 or $45,000...and the next day, in either situation, you're still married.

We've booked all of our Las Vegas trips through www.funjet.com. They offer a variety of hotels, flights, events, activities (even weddings) through their service. We've never had an issue with their prices or service.

Another great resource is www.TripAdvisor.com. You can read about other traveller's experiences and also view photos. Great resource.

Finally remember that cheap doesn't necessarily mean clean. I would steer clear of the lower end hotels and try to get a great deal at a higher rated hotel. Some of our favorites are NYNY, MGM, Paris, and Bally's.

    Best wishes for marital bliss!

My husband and I were married in Las Vegas in May 2005, and have never regretted it. It was fun! We got a package through Travelocity, air fare and a standard room at MGM. We were upgraded at checkin (at the airport) to a gorgeous suite for no extra cost, which was great. We also got a wedding package at Viva Las Vegas Wedding Chapel, and it was really nice, not cheesy at all. Try vegas.com and cheapovegas.com for hotel and wedding venue info, also tripadvisor.com. They have a LV forum where you can get lots of good advice, that's what we did. Do a search for 'weddings'. Some people on there say to book the flight and room separately, it's cheaper, but I think we did good with Travelocity. You just have to do some research. Good luck, you will have a blast.

Las Vegas is not the only place to elope, or get married like that. My mom eloped in vermont and they had a nice hotel to stay at too. It was very cheap.

You could find other places to go.. probably for alot less than vegas and somewhere just as exciting.

hi there - on the wedding side, you can pay as little as $25 for a drive through, or from a couple of hundred dollars for a basic ceremony at a lot of the chapels.

On the website below, go to 'weddings' and search for packages by cost. The magazine also has an article about low cost weddings in Vegas - I hope it helps.

    Have fun - and congratulations!

my fiancee and i are going to elope in may we got our plane tickets thru spiritair.com and paid 400.00 for two round trip tickets. We are staying at the Stratosphere hotel for 5 nights for 225.00 with the 10% savings for having a rewards card that you can sign up for online. The little white wedding chapel offers wedding packages that range in price from 75.00 to $$$ Don't forget the license is 55 dollars ad most chapels require a 50 ministers gratuity. Hope this helps

I like hotwire.com. They have some awesome deals. You don't always know where your going to stay when you choose a hotel but it does let you know if it's a one star or 5 star hotel. I use them often when I visit the city. I have NEVER been disappointed. Once you pay for your reservation they let you know where the motel is and all the particulars. Best Wishes.

Stratosphere with your wedding at www.littlewhiteweddingchapel.com. We did it in May and was only about $200 for wedding!

You'll regret the rest of your life for doing this. You can trust Fred on that.
