Visit every flower shop in your area as soon as possible because the biggest day in the floral business is just around the corner. Most floral shops beg for help in getting ready for Valentine's Day. You might not be offered a permanent job, but you just might get the opportunity to show what you can do. Businesses often hire temporary help in order to week out those just looking to collect a paycheck. If you can land even a temporary position in a busy shop for Valentine's week, you have an excellent opportunity to prove yourself.

In addition, you might want to look in all the usual places like the newspaper employment classified ads. Don't forget to check out Yahoo Jobs. All you have to do is plug in your zip code to see jobs posted in your area. Maybe you will get lucky.
