I've been playing fantasy football for quite a while now and, in my experience, the best way to draft a well rounded team that should compete every year is this.......... RB, WR, QB in the first 3 rounds in no particular order. Then WR, RB, TE in the next 3, also in no particular order. What position you draft in each round depends greatly on what pick you have and what the people ahead of you do. Flexibility is key. Don't ever assume you have to draft certain positions in a certain round. Let's say you have the 5th pick. There's a great chance that 3-4 RBs will be taken. You may want to consider the top QB or you may stick with a RB. If you're at the end of the round, maybe you go WR. The important thing is to use your cheat sheet (your ranked list of players)and make sure you're picking value every time. Anyway, if you land a top 3-4 QB, one top 5-6 RB, a top 1-3 TE, and then fill out your WR and RB spots with the best players available, you'll find you like the looks of your team when the first 6 rounds are done. If that was too involved, pick RB, QB, WR, TE, RB, WR in that order. Even if you completely disregard everything else I suggested, you should still have a pretty decent team. Good luck.

Drew Brees and Steven Jackson (At least in the clutch) were beasts for my NFL.com Team. LJ tore it up for my Yahoo league.

Chad Johnson never paid the bills when I needed him to in NFL. Michael Vick Destroyed my Yahoo team in the playoffs and before it. I hate that guy.

I picked up Corey Dillon in the 8th round of NFL. I picked up Frank Gore in practically the last round in Yahoo.

Andre Johnson really stepped up for me as well as Frank Gore.

I was really dissapointed in Randy Moss and Edgerrin James.

Marcus Colston preformed well as a late round draft rookie who qualified at tight end in some leagues...and Robbie Gould was automatic.
