Have you heard this joke about the farmer- legislator?

A lobbyist was trying to get a farmer-legislator to vote against funds for the state university. He asked the farmer if he knew that his daughter would be forced to matriculate in front of other students. Further did he know that she would be expected to let faculty examine her thesis. And and at the end she would, in front a stadium full of people, to commence. The F-L said "I will not vote them a d*** cent.
