Does any one get ANYTHING when we rate an answer thumbs up?

    When an answer is selected for best answer they also get one point for each thumbs up they had been given.(up to 50)

    The asker gets a better idea on how valid any particular answer may be.

    The responder gets recognition from you for his effort.
