Those who can answer know what I'm talking about. Example .. when you view a video on YouTube it's size is added as a "download" so far as your ISP is concerned. My question is does this also apply to watching live TV on the web...because if that's the case then you better have no limit download or forget about it.

Let's say your ISP limits your download to 20GB per month ... will watching live feed internet TV drastically use this up ... please ... no referrals to web pages ... I want to hear from people who actually use it on a regular basis & can substantiate their replies.

I can get this card new for only $120, & am wondering if it's more than I need to obtain good HDTV out on a 46" LCD for Media Center under Vista Ultimate.

Getting an 8600GTS would only save me about $30.

This probably has to do with sound leveling in a codec setting, however, I cannot pinpoint it.

When I watch TV or a stored video file on my PC the audio volume is always much lower than any Windows system sound.

This is particularly annoying when browsing through Media Center functions & the "clicks" are louder than the video audio.

Forums out there tell me many many others have this same problem but no solution.

Any & all comments are welcome.

One that will detect & manage media such as mp3 or avi files on a thumb drive (for example).

It's come to my attention that one of the top contibutors in the "Add On' category is making a mockery of this forum by clearly using multiple logins to vote for himself & take away recognition for other respondants who try hard to help people with their answers.

I confronted him with this & he emailed me saying that more than 95% of his best answers are with 3 or 4 votes (EVERY TIME) because his "fans" always vote for him.

There are no names next to the answers in the voting stage so this is not possible.... clearly something fiishy is going on.

How can we best expose this ?

I've just about had it with the constant need to tweak its flawed detection of the music files on my PC. I have over 10,000 songs & despite using good mp3 tag editors Media Player 11 just doesn't cut it ....I'm considering ITunes ... please advise.

This link (along with other variables which I'll not include) keeps secretly trying to request data from my PC.

My security software tells me that the data it is requesting is the administrator login to my PC.

Obviously it is the result of spyware or a phishing program which I sucessfully remove each time it occurs.

My question is:

Have any of you also experienced this ?

Is this what happened ? It totally freaked me out ... I walked acroos the room to adjust a thermostat ... when my finger touched the control a small static spark occured & for about 1 second I heard what sounded like voices from a radio ... fairly loud too.

I know I heard it ... how could this be.

Is there a way to look at the emails that we sent to fellow users of this forum ? The addresses are confidential, of course, but does Yahoo keep the messages stored where we can look them up again if we want to ? They are not in my "sent" folder.

Yes, I'm aware of the profile setting page ... yada yada .... it just occasonally fails to show.

I get a : "No Yahoo! 360 picture" message on the options page even though my Yahoo 360 picture is well there & shows on that page....

no big deal ... just wondering why ... a Yahho server issue maybe ?
