DVD player with USB (in) connector ?

and i happen to purchase one such, sometime in september 2007. cheap chinese make, but fortunately working alright so far. thankfully carries one year warranty. was for a presentation (my old in-laws)

this is not the exact model, but pretty similar and marginally cheaper ... approx $40

yes, i did test drive the 'play from usb thumb drive' using my own one, in store. the store fella's did not have one even for demo. do not recall file types ... wmv most probably and wma also mp3 ., so yes audio & video tested working ok from thumb drive

also, as you can see from link > this dvd player has a card slot too (while the one i bought does not have this)
