Sound levelling ?
This probably has to do with sound leveling in a codec setting, however, I cannot pinpoint it.
When I watch TV or a stored video file on my PC the audio volume is always much lower than any Windows system sound.
This is particularly annoying when browsing through Media Center functions & the "clicks" are louder than the video audio.
Forums out there tell me many many others have this same problem but no solution.
Any & all comments are welcome.
Thank you Eric, however, audio levels are all at max.
This is a hidden factor somewhere that overrides default levels.
Using the balance controls will be a "fix", however, since they are all at the same level there should be no difference....but there is...that is what I want to resolve.

Balance the audio levels in Control Panel - turn down your WAV and turn up your DESKTOP?
If desktop is already at max, just turn down the WAV. That is where the mouse click sounds are coming from. Just 'cause they are all equal doesnt mean they are all equal in output.

Distance , the added you're from a valid source the greater decreased the sound. 7. White noise or backgroud music (They play those issues in elevators to cover the noise of the kit) 8. Headphones that muffle, not take out noise 9. turn the quantity down on audio gadget, telephones and pa systems
