two people from the same profetion sometimes get competitive with each other.

as long as the two try to be equal with each other and not do that, maybe it can work out. i know a few marriages of doctors, sadly in most cases the women seem to be overshadowed, but maybe its cause they may neglect theyre own carreer to suport the husband or maybe it is that sometimes, when some women are happy with theyre personal lives they relax about work. everybody is diferent.

It depends on the type of doctor. If you're doctors in the medical field and you both tend to be on call quite a bit, you might not be around enough to make a marriage work. You can have very little time together in a dating set up and be fine with that because it's exciting and absence makes the heart grow fonder. However in a marriage, you start having to make many decisions together and you have to start being more in-depth partners than in a standard relationship. You need time together.
