did anyone watch the 20/20 game last night?

ya i did!!!!

although it seemed one sided by the way SA hammered their way 2wards victory,still it was enjoyable!!!!

i wonder,why is it dat d same batsmen play so slow in the other forms of the game,when they hve such hard hitting abilities!!!afterall the same bowlers bowl there as well!!!! the "free hit" concept also seemed amusing!!!!!!!!

I've watched T20 and I like it very much but it wont be more then a minority sport in the USA. There really aren't any nations that have popular baseball AND cricket (The Netherlands is probably the closest). I'm not saying it can't enjoy SOME success in America. Rugby is a popular sport in American Universities and there is even a semi-pro national competition. Soccer is also catching on more and more so I am sure it can find a spot somewhere.

yeah,it was good fun to see thrashing throughout the 20 overs of S.Africa.I think Pakistan is not still not able to get out of the mould of one-day cricket,that's why they thought 129 was enough,which is surely not by 20/20 standards.But the way S. africa just romped to victory without losing a single wicket,esp. hitting by G. Smith,I think they should be strong contenders for this year's World cup in the carribean.

it was ok, as far as 20/20 games go it wasn't a very good one coz they're usually pretty close. Some great batting by the S.Africans tho
