I just hope you are already somewhat fit. You gotta run from moderate to intense every. (6+ mph on treadmill). Yea your knees will hurt, but it will work. And eat your greens, because it will clean your system everyday. And eat your carbs, just the good ones like brown rice and pasta, but for lunch or something, so it gives energy when you workout. Go to the men's health website its pretty good. Depending your age 150 is pretty lite, so make your goal to look better, if that means staying the same weight, but by making muscle. Muscle weighs more than fat

That's a very unhealthy goal. To put this in perspective:

A pound is about 3,500 calories. Let's say you're on a 2000 calorie per day regimen to maintain your current weight. Even if you ate NOTHING, you would still need to walk at a moderate pace for FIFTEEN HOURS to burn the rest.

    Here, try this website out:

You can calculate your basic calorie needs and how much you need to lower your intake to lose X amount of pounds over X amount of time. Set realistic goals, like 1-2 pounds per week. Start looking at the back of the foods you buy and getting an idea of how much you're taking in. And most importantly: exercise!

I lost 20 pounds in two and a half months doing just that. I hope you have the same good fortune!

It's nearly impossible. You would have to work out vigorously for 8 hours and take in fewer than 1000 calories per day. Don't even think about it. A far more reasonable plan would be to cut that goal in half. That's totally attainable.
