Will this get you worried about bird flu?

Okay - They have announced that 2000+ birds have been killed in Suffolk from bird flu. So as a precaution they killed all the other birds that were near them 'just in case'.

So what happens if a human catches it? Does this mean that they have to cull everyone in the surrounding area 'just in case' too ????????

And if so - will the government then decide to scrap the new trident weapons programme and save billions by just launching in a few dead turkeys????

Could this be the REAL WMD that we have been hearing so much about ????

    Hi David,

you have just hit on a new secret weapon. Get ready to be a billionaire. Patent it fast or I may sell your idea to the highest bidder!

If humans get this decease there will be a natural culling .

You need to speak to the government about scraping trident, you may be able to push your price up for the deal on the new weapon.

No this is not the new WMD, you are quite safe, at least you are not stealing an idea, although for some time there has been germ warfare.

HEY! DON'T DO IT PLEASE, all those poor turkeys and turkey farmers.

farmers. What a soul destroying thing they have had to do.

Who'd be a farmer? It seems it's one thing after another.

Let us hope this is the last culling on such a scale, we shall see.

    Just glad I'm a veggie!

I can't believe you posted this up in the Jokes and Riddles section. lol

For it to develop into a new human strain of Flu, the avian virus has to share its DNA with an ordinary flu virus,in a series of coincidences worthy of a comic opera. If there were an outbreak there would be no ultimate sanction. Although you should be prepared to spend time in an isolation hospital somewhere in the north of Scotland Where everyone under thirty will probably die anyway.

Don't you think its strange that this has happened when there are no migrating bird species about. Does anyone else suspect the Animal Right terrorists or other political extremists might have had a hand in this? Bernard Mathews is the most prominent turkey farmer in the country. And Turkey farming is probably the most intensive form of "agribusiness" in the UK. Of course these turkeys were due on our tables at Easter, so this would be the optimum time to paralyse the whole industry.

at first the merely precise major pandemic change into in 1918 no longer 1928 and change into exacerbated with assistance from a lack of medical centers which were depleted with assistance from WW1. for instance penicilin change into at 10% of the necessary volume international-huge and easily really available to the defense force and authorities hospitals. The projected a threat outbreak that would spread from the some distance east will hit those who do no longer have adequate commonplace remedy alongside with in coming up countries and great city populations. contained in the west we will be luckier as governments are literally stockpiling Tamiflu anti-virus vaccines and non-licenced variations are to be allowed. effortless precautions and a good healthy existence-sort may be functional. i imagine the media have extremely over-hyped the tale with somewhat help from some unscrupulous drug business business enterprise executives! trans-mutagenic chicken flu has been prevailant for hundreds of years and has had the prospect to mutate leap deliver to mammals for as lengthy and were nevertheless the following!
