MY wife is giveing A 'Bridal Shower'?

A kinda fun one we played at mine was making bridal gowns out of toilet paper. you break up in groups and give the groups rolls of toilet paper and they have like 5 minutes to make a dress. the bride picks the winner. we also played a game that my maid of honor came up with. she made a list of things like pens, photos, condoms, a lighter, ponytail holder, etc. and points for each item. she then handed the list out to each guest and everyone went through the purses and tried to see how many of the things on the list they had. whoever had the most points won. the worst part was my mom was there and my maid of honor had things like condoms on the list haha but it was fun.

First, it's considered poor etiquette to throw a shower for your daughter.

That being said, there are some fun games that you can play. How about the game where "marriage" or any form of it is a forbidden word? Each person attending the shower gets a clothespin and loses it for saying "marriage". The person who hears them/catches them saying it steals the clothespin. The person who has the most at the end of the party wins a prize.

UGH! I hate the ettiquette police! I think its great that you are throwing your daughter a bridal shower. We played bridal shower bingo, had a wedding traditions trivia game (email me for details if interested) and seen who could guess which dress, tiara ect i liked best out of a half dozen pictures or so. everyone had fun.

There are some really fun games to play. Google "Bridal shower games". "Kitchen sink" and "brown bag" are two of my favorites. I've used both at showers I've thrown, and they were huge hits.

who cares about wedding ettiquite these days brides do what they want...not what they have been told. THose people thinking it is tacky...did you ever think that there was no one else to throw the bride a shower so the mother threw one for her? THat is a great mom!!
