is alexander's steakhouse worth the visit?

Yes, it is worth it to eat there. I have been there 3 times and each time was a different but great experience. Although, I do not beleive they have a $250 steak. They have the Kobe beef steak and its about $100. I suggest you contact them for their daily side dishes. They have their garlic mash everyday and they are delicious. Their filet mignon is AWESOME!!! They also have a menu on their website.

I haven't been there personally but as a matter of fact i was talking to a friend that just recently went there for her birthday. She did mention that the dinner for two cost them $450. It is good food, but worth $250 for a steak??? If you have tons of money that you won't get bothered by spending this much for only one dinner then go for it.. if you're someone that has to cut back from other activities to make it there, then I'd say Nah, it's not worth it!
